Short biography:

Ok...Let's start from the beginning (or 9 months after that).
One not so beautiful evening my mother felt that I cant stand staying in there much more, so she decided to give birth to one crying little creature, looking like human being (but not very much). The date was the 15-th of February, 1983 years after the birth of Jesus Christ. Location: Haskovo, Bulgaria.
As you can guess, this little creature was called Damyan Dimitrov Mitev, and afterwards it caused a lot of trouble to the world, and you are reading one of them right now.
Until my 5-th birthday I didn't know, that I am going to be a programmer. I didn't know this after that either, nevertheless I went to kindergarten. It was fun there, but nothing lasts forever :(
When I was 6 I went to school. This was the scariest moment of my life. But my classmates didn't bite me (a lot), so I managed to bear them for some 7 years. No need to say that I was excellent student and all the teachers loved me a lot :)
After that came the exams for the high school. They were one of the few most important things I have done in my life (till now). Good students=good preparation=good results. So in a blink of an eye I turned out to be in the School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences in Haskovo.
Life there was tougher. There I met my true love-the computer (only a true programmer can put "love" and "computer" in one sentence, and connect them). As the time passed our love become stronger, and I had to learn various of useless things along with the helpful ones.
At the beginning of my last year I took SAT I and II and the TOEFL tests, in order to apply in an american university. Of course, my results were better than excellent, but the pocket of my parents is rather thin, so our american brothers decided not to admit this clever, still poor boy. They lose!
As often happens with the pleasant and carefree days, the 5 years in the high school ended and I had to face another of the few most important things in my life (so far) - the exams for the bulgarian universities. The battle was rough, sometimes with blood. I was more interested in my computer than in mathematics, so I couldn't join the University of Sofia. I was sad. However I did excellent in the University of Plovdiv. And now I am more than happy...
I am now in the middle of my first year in Plovdiv as a student in Computer Science. Here I found many friends, and the meaning of "Love".No, not the computer. I mean human love. And her name is Iveta (I think this is one of the most important things in my life so far).
I plan to live some more (although this is not entirely in my control), so I'll leave this CV unfinished...

Interests:

I have many interests, mainly in the field of Computer Science, but not only.
About the music:I like all sort of music, but especially "The Corrs".If you know them you know what I'm talking about. If not-I pity you.
In my time as a programmer (nearly 4 years now), I have made a lot of projects, mainly in the field of graphics(2d, 3d) games. Recently I made my first steps in system programming-I started to write my own operating system. Nothing special, just fun. Maybe someday it will be more popular than Windows?! :)
Future plans:Not yet. I'm concerned in passing my exams first.

Family:

    Now for my family...
My father is called Dimitar Mitev. He has two degrees-one in engineering and one in economics. Now he works as engineer in "Interfood Total" milk factory. He is cool. Thought me more than most of my teachers all together. And many other things.
My mother is Ivanka Miteva. SHe has degree in Biology and Chemistry and is a teacher in the primary school "Shandor Petyofi".She is not cool. She pisses me off quite often (maybe she things she takes care about me-crazy woman logic). Whatever.
I have one brother. His name is Slav and is 13 years older than me. Now he lives in Pleven with his wife Elena and his son (my nephew and ultimate destroyer) Mitko. By the way, he is fighter pilot. Cool, a?
And last but not least, my precious sister Julieta. She is only 8 years older than me and is the most studious of us all. She has one degree in German philology from the University of Veliko Tarnovo, one from 2-year college in Germany, and now she is still in Germany, learning English philology and Computer Science. Way to go!
As for future members of my family...time will tell...

Hobbies:

Well, I'm a big fan of Bulgarian mountains. I made this picture from a hut near the Seven Lakes of Rila. Very beautiful...
